Mr. Krewson joined Variety as editor of its website in 2010 and has been working to align its news and web operations. Previously, he was executive online editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer; an online producer, multimedia editor and online editor at The (Allentown, Pa.) Morning Call, and a reporter for the Centre Daily Times, in State College, Pa. Mr. Krewson is a 1998 graduate of Penn State University, where he graduated with a BA in Journalism. He's the recipient of a 2010 Penn State Alumni Achievement Award and two national awards for public service in online journalism. He is a member of the Online News Association, and he attended API's Leading the 24/7 Newsroom (2007).
